Last spring TOS Kuřim presented to its partners new machine series portal tooling centre with sliding table and adjustable crossbar FRPQ. Centre can be equipped with one to four sliding spindle heads, each with the output of 100 kW. The centre is intended to effectively work with oversized and complicated work-pieces using progressive technologies.

On March 4, 2011, signing the final documents completed the acquisition of Alta company concerning the purchase of Škoda Machine Tool (hereinafter referred to as ŠMT), which was owned from 2005 by the Russian company StankoImpex Group. Prior approval was obtained from the Office for the Protection of Competition.
