Since its establishment the company of TOS KUŘIM OS, Inc. has dealt with the production of universal machinery, machining centers, special purpose machine and automated line for wide spectrum of customers. During its activity in this area, this firm obtained large know-how in these fields of a machining and a construction of various machines. MSc. Jan Sobola, technical manager of the company, told us that the basic production strategy of company in the area universal machines is founded on a continuous innovation and modernization of machines and devices.

On March 4, 2011, signing the final documents completed the acquisition of Alta company concerning the purchase of Škoda Machine Tool (hereinafter referred to as ŠMT), which was owned from 2005 by the Russian company StankoImpex Group. Prior approval was obtained from the Office for the Protection of Competition.
